How Are You So Positive

This is probably one of the most frequently asked question. Right after do you regret your tattoos and spending so much money? Um.. No I don't, period!
Being a positive person was a journey. I didn't just wake up one morning and was like "let me take on the world with a positive attitude and willingness to view everything from multiple different angles".
The things we go through build us into who we are its just a matter of if we're willing to listen and learn.
We ALL have a past so I'll spare you the details of mine. We ALL have the ability to change how we choose to react to the world and people around us. This takes time and patience to get down and I'm not perfect by any means but it's also being aware and being able to self reflect later and saying "I was able to handle that better by......" there's always an opportunity for improvement.
For instance my chronic illness journey. I could have handled the news of every diagnosis poorly had I chose to. I learned a long time ago that each choice I made had a consequence. I chose to take it as a grieving experience which really helped, and allowed me to face & accept each emotion I felt vs avoiding it or trying to numb it out.
How you feel is valid. Never allow anyone to ever make you feel less then because of how you express yourself. How could they possibly know anyway, they aren't you! So how you feel, feel it, and know that its ok and the right people will have your back 💕
I choose to look at things from different perspectives vs one sided. One thing I've learned life doesn't shoot us something and expect everything be done one way. There isn't one way, and one way is the right way (yes wifey the towel can be folded the other way too 😂).
Life is just too short to be offended by everything. Have fun, laugh often, and have a healthy dose of positivity. Keep an open mind. Don't don't so serious all the time! Put good back into the world & it'll follow you.
Remember its ok to take time out to focus on you & your mental health because you are important and enough!! 💚 Stop Overthinking things & just relax & enjoy life, have fun.
